After graduating from the Law Faculty UM, the lawyer first worked as an intern at the Higher Court in Celje and then at the Higher Court in Maribor. After passing the legal state examination, he did his lawyer candidacy in one of the law firms in Maribor. Since 2006, he has been practicing law as an independent lawyer and is a member of the Bar Association of Slovenia - OZS.

Since 2012 he has been a member of the Slovenian - German Chamber of Commerce (Deutsch - Slowenische Industrie- und Handelskammer - AHK Slowenien) and since 2015 a member of the international professional association Legal Skills International Business Lawyers EEIG based in Berlin.
